Zep is your one-stop shop and can provide the total solutions to your cleaning and maintenance needs. Each day, over 300,000 satisfied customers worldwide use the extensive Zep product line to make their work a little easier.

Challenge
To develop an Learning/Internal communication portal that addressed the objectives by providing a platform that could be easily accessed by remote users. ICAM's instructional design team built a multi-level curriculum called "Zep Manufacturing Intranet Portal " with nearly 250 HTML pages. All stressing the importance of information and communication. This information helps Zep's salespeople convey the Zep Manufacturing Professional difference and product advantages. The content is optimized to work quickly over any modem speed because many of the salespeople work in home offices over dial-up connection.

 
 
 
 

Solution
ICAM developed the information architecture and usability testing models for how the commerce engine/portal would integrate with Zep's internal Web sites. This included the execution of the graphic design, development of more than 250 HTML pages. ICAM developed an Intranet portal to provide content such as company spotlight, department information, central repository for forms and documentation. Keeping this portal perpetually refreshed with news and rich content is stimulating return visitors to keep upto date with the current events and changes within the corporation. A strong taxonomy and the ability to search and locate information with the click of a button. ICAM is currently working on the new ZepInternet website.
